Where: Meet at the Nature Center
Join Lee Payne Jr. for a relaxing walk through Creasey Mahan’s forests and prairies to spot our winter avian visitors and year round denizens of the Bluegrass. You are likely to see familiar species like chickadees, titmice, bluebirds, and woodpeckers, and some of our migratory species like kinglets, harrier hawks, kestrels, and sapsuckers!
Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. Difficulty is moderate.
We encourage you to bring binoculars (if you have a pair), a camera or smartphone, and plenty of curiosity.
