Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve’s popular 8th annual Butterfly Ball, presented by FBT Gibbons, will be held on May 29! After canceling the event in 2025 due to extreme weather conditions, we are ready to host an exceptional evening! 

The evening begins in the picturesque Mac & Marla Barr Woodland Garden with open bars featuring specialty bourbons and signature drinks, live music with the Ron Jones Quartet, an exquisite farm-to-fork dinner by Volare, fantastic auction items, and a personalized butterfly experience. WAVE 3’s multiple Emmy-award winner, Shannon Cogan, will be our Host Extraordinaire, accompanied by entertainer-auctioneers Kevin Harned and Bill Menish. Join us for this unforgettable evening! 

This special gala brings together friends and neighbors with the inspiring purpose of renovating the 1828 barn into a Visitor Center, grow Thrive Forest School scholarship funds for families in need, and ensure free access to nature for all.
