Come join Jacob Crider for a relaxing walk through Creasey Mahan’s forests and prairies to spot our winter avian visitors and year round denizens of the bluegrass. He is back in town and offered to host this wonderful walk. He hopes to see familiar species like chickadees, titmice, bluebirds, and woodpeckers, but also some of our migratory species like kinglets, harriers, kestrels, and sapsuckers!
Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. Difficulty is moderate.
We encourage you to bring binoculars (if you have a pair), a camera or smartphone, and plenty of curiosity.
