Where: Meet at the Nature Center
Turtles, lizards, frogs, salamanders, and snakes enjoy these toasty temperatures. You are invited to join our resident naturalist, Jacob Crider, on a forest hike to learn about these often overlooked creatures. Jacob will peak beneath logs and rocks to uncover amazing amphibians, and share fun facts about reptiles, too. You will see these fascinating creatures up close in their natural habitats.
With the predicted heat, please bring water.
Hike difficulty: Moderate
Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground.
We encourage you to bring binoculars (if you have a pair), a camera or smartphone, and plenty of curiosity.
