Migratory Birds and Butterflies

Where: Meet at the Nature Center
Come take a morning hike with Jacob Crider to check out our woodlands and meadows in search of migratory birds and insects. Neotropical birds such as warblers, vireos, grosbeaks, thrushes, and buntings will begin their southern migrations around this time, and many species of butterflies will be out pollinating our summer wildflowers!
Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. Difficulty is easy to moderate.
We encourage you to bring binoculars (if you have a pair), a camera or smartphone, and plenty of curiosity.
