Fall Birdwatching Hike

When: Saturday – November 19th
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Donation: $10/person, $5/members, Children 6 and younger are free
Where: Meet at the Picnic Pavilions behind the Nature Center
Naturalist Jacob Crider will help point out and identify different birds along the hike. He hopes to see a few species migrating south from Canada for the winter. Those could be yellow-bellied sapsuckers, golden-crowned kinglets, Nuthatches, and Brown Creepers. Of course you will also see year round residents like cardinals, robins, mockingbirds, woodpeckers, chickadees, and more!
Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. Difficulty is easy to moderate. Masks are optional.
We encourage you to bring binoculars (if you have a pair), a camera or smartphone, and plenty of curiosity!
