Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve’s third annual Butterfly Ball will be held in-person on May 20, 2022 at our picturesque and gorgeous site. The evening features delicious cocktails with an open bar in the Woodland Garden, slow jazz with The Ron Jones Quartet, an exquisite dinner, fantastic auction items and a butterfly experience. WAVE 3’s multiple Emmy-award winner, Shannon Cogan, will be our Master of Ceremonies. Join us for this unforgettable evening!

This special gala will bring together friends and neighbors with the inspiring purpose to build wheelchair-accessible restrooms near our ADA-accessible Forest Friends Playground, provide scholarship funds for Thrive Forest School families in need, and ensure the preserve is always protected, free, and open to the public. We offer the state’s first full-time nature-based Thrive Forest School and serve the community through school field trips, with recreational fields for team practices, and by offering annual community-events that bring nature and community together.
