Backyard Bird Workshop

Where: Meet at the Nature Center
Winter is a terrific time to fill our bird feeders and create habitats for birds in our backyards.
Come join us in the warmth of the Nature Center, where we will view the Bird Blind to learn about attracting birds to the backyard this winter and spring.
We will focus on the best types of bird food, bird behaviors, native habitats, maintaining bird boxes, feeder placement and installment, and more.
A fun and practical craft will be to create native seed bombs to add to your home or local garden. This is included in admission fee.
Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground.
We encourage you to bring binoculars (if you have a pair), a camera or smartphone, and plenty of curiosity.
