Eastern Redbud prefers to grow in full sun to partly shaded forests in moist, well drained soil, and can be planted in pollinator gardens for its ability to attract bees and butterflies. This photo of an Eastern Redbud was taken in the Native Grass Meadow at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve.
