Fire Pit and Camping
The Fire Pit is a wonderful place to gather and cook meals, tell stories, warm up in cool weather, and promote fellowship. Renters of the Fire Pit MUST make previous arrangements with staff at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve and follow strict fire regulations. For more details, please call the office at (502) 228-4362.
The Fire Pit may be rented alone or as part of a camping trip.
Cost: $15 for Fire Pit usage only and complimentary when camping.
Camping
The Nature Preserve is a favorite camping destination for many families and scouting groups! Campers can pitch tents along Arboretum Way (pictured) and have easy access to the Fire Pit and nearby restrooms (the green doors).
Please note that no fishing is allowed, and tents are limited to the Arboretum area. Please note that the restrooms do not have showers.
Camping & Fire Pit cost: Call (502) 228-4362 for pricing. Cost depends on duration of camping, and the number of people. The minimum camping fee is $25, with $1/person.
