Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve is a non-profit nature preserve dedicated by Virginia Creasey Mahan and Howard Mahan to enrich the community through conservation, education, preservation, and community enjoyment!
Mahan Manor Restoration Project!

Mahan Manor was originally built from 1806-1808 as a two-story log cabin (the original structure is shown above between the chimneys). The home was given as a wedding gift to Virginia and Howard in 1921, by Virginia's family.
The Nature Preserve is looking for volunteers to help remove the aluminum siding to expose the cedar lapboards that are underneath. We plan to start this fun and challenging project in Spring 2010. If you are interested in helping in any facet of this project, please call (502) 228-4362 or email info@creaseymahannaturepreserve.org! Also, if you'd like to donate to this project, all donors with gifts of $500 or more will have their name displayed on a Mahan Manor Plaque of Honor. (All donations are tax-deductible!).
Please call (502) 228-4362 to schedule a tour.
